Being the owner of a Volkswagen Golf Plus London car is fabulous, until it breaks down. Unfortunately that happened to me this week. Motoring along very happily on a wet Monday morning until suddenly my Mercedes CLK seemed to have the engine capacity of a SEAT AROSA. Thankfully I managed to crawl to the next Mercedes garage to find out what the problem was. It was not good news. A collapsed catalytic converter, which basically means £1400 worth of repairs. As parts were not yet available the lovely people at Mercedes offered me a brand new Mercedes B class.
I have never really been a fan of the B class. My mother owns one and so I think I subconsciously labelled it an “old people” car. Plus I didn’t fully understand what it was? Is it supposed to be a 4×4 or is it just a normal car? Whilst I am still not sure about the answer to the particular question I have to admit that I really like the car and I am considering trading in my old car for a new B class.
The car has plenty of space inside whilst still being easy to park. I much prefer the accessibility to the car when compared with my CLK. I have a small child and stooping to fasten him in the rear car seat is back breaking to say the least. The B class is also very efficient on fuel. The basic model starts from a price of £19,640 and I would be interested in how much Mercedes would give me for the CLK! Especially now it has a brand new catalytic converter!

Serving the hungry and the homeless in Fairfield County, Operation Hope provides 2 meals a day through its community kitchen, 80,000 meals a year through its food pantry and a clean, safe shelter. They also offer long term solutions to the problem of hunger and homelessness, including affordable housing, life skills training, and personalized support.
